Effective this Tuesday, May 5th, we will be opening our book drop. Patrons will be able to start returning items that they have in their possessions. All items are permitted to be placed in the book drop EXCEPT for board games. If you have a board game, please hold onto it until we reopen the building. They will continue to be renewed until we reopen. All items have now been renewed until June 2nd, if you are unable to make it to the book drop. Our book drop is located on the Union Street side of the building.
Currently we are planning to start curbside services on Monday, May 18th. We are still working on the logistics to make sure we do it in the safest way possible for both patrons and staff. Patrons will be able to place items on hold through our catalog online, or they can call the library to request items to be picked up. More details on this will be coming very soon.
Also, be on the lookout for information about our Summer Reading Program. The program will be done virtually this year. We will be providing the schedule of programs and details for signing up for the program very soon. The first day of the Summer Reading Program will be Monday, June 1st.
While we still don’t have an answer on when we can open the building to the public, we are striving to offer you all of the services we possibly can during this difficult time. Please continue to check our website and Facebook page for updates on our curbside service and Summer Reading Program.
