Recycled Art Contest

We are back with another Recycled Art contest!

This year we are partnering with London Visual Art Guild to host a Recycled Art Contest!

Starting March 1st the London Public Library will be accepting Recycled Art submissions. These submissions can be anything that you would like to create but must be made with recyclable materials found around your house. Submissions must be turned into the library by March 29th. This is a hard deadline, and we are unable to accept any submissions after this time. When you return your art to the library you will be asked to fill out our artist information sheet so that we have your name, age, and a way to contact you after the reception.

On April 6th the London Visual Arts Guild will be hosting a reception to showcase both their member’s art and the art of those participating in the Recycled Art contest. Artists, along with everyone in the community, are invited out to view all the art submissions during this reception. During this reception, LVAG board members will vote on the best art for each category and prizes will be handed out.

This contest is for all ages and participants will be divided into three age categories: kids, teens, and adults. Board members of the LVAG will be choosing the winners for each age category. Participants do not have to be present at the reception in order to win the prize in their category. Art submissions will be on display for all of April.

Important Dates:

March 1st: The library will begin taking submissions for the Recycled Art contest

March 29th: The last day to turn in any Recycled Art submissions

April 6th: The London Visual Art Guild reception will be from 2:00pm – 4:00pm
