Patrons with full access accounts may have out a maximum of 50 items at a time. Below are check out limits and loan periods for individual item types.

We do not charge for items being returned late. When an item is 21 days overdue, the item is considered lost and the replacement cost will be charged to the patron’s account. Patrons with unpaid balances of $10.00 or more on their accounts will be blocked from checking out until the account is under $10.00. Patrons with more than 5 overdue items will be blocked from checking out materials. Any parent, legal guardian or child’s library account that has more than $50 in fines will block all family members’ accounts from use until each account is below $50 in fines. Patron accounts with unpaid balances over $50 of lost materials will be turned over to a collection agency and a $10 service fee will be added to the account balance.
Damaged or Lost Items:
If a library item is damaged or lost, the cost of the item plus a $3.00 processing fee will be added to your library account. The cost of the item can be acquired by contacting the Service Desk at (740) 852-9543.
Reserves
Patrons may place unavailable materials on reserve and will be notified when the item is ready for pick up. Patrons have seven days to pick up held items. You can check the status of your reserved items by visiting your Patron Account.
Prints, Copies and Faxes:
Patrons can print or make copies using the Library’s computers or copy machines.
- Black and white printing and copying is 15 cents per page.
- Color printing and copying is 25 cents per page.
- Outgoing faxes are $1.00 per page. We do not receive faxes on behalf of patrons.
