Chick Hatching

Keep watch on eggs we have in an incubator over a 2 week period. Then, observe live chicks at the library the following week.   Eggs arrive on September 13th. Our chicks should hatch around September 27th and can be observed in the library through October 3rd. 

Zombie Barbies

Create your own Zombie Barbie on Tuesday, October 17 at 6:00 pm! Get in the spirit of Halloween and create your own Zombie Barbie! We’ll have everything you need to turn your Barbie into a terrifying zombie!  This event is for ages 11-17. Registration is required. 

Large Farm Animal Event

Join us rain or shine on Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 am in the yard behind the library as Bring the Farm to You shares live chickens, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, sheep, goats, and pigs. Visit each animal at your own pace and learn from the educators. (All ages)

Gnorbert the Gnome is somewhere in the library reading his books. Patrons of all ages can find him, tell a staff member, and earn a piece of candy. Gnorbert moves to a new spot every Monday, so come back each week to find him!
