Your design could be on our 2024 Summer Reading shirts!

Do you love the library? Are you artistic? Have you always wanted to see your design on a t-shirt? If you answered yes to all of those questions then we need your help! We want YOU to design our 2024 Summer Reading T-shirts! Patrons will be able to submit designs starting April 1st. The last day to submit a design will be April 30th. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept any submissions after this date so that we can make sure all of our t-shirts are ready to go by the first day of Summer Reading!

Here are the official rules of our t-shirt design contest:

• Patrons of all ages can submit a design.
• Designs should be inspired by the Summer Reading theme: Adventure Begins at Your Library.
• Designs must include “London Public Library”.
• Image can be created with up to 6 colors.
• Designs must be submitted on 8.5 x 11″ paper. Emailed designs can also be submitted. 
• Designs can be created on a computer, be hand drawn, or painted. 
• Designs will be altered if necessary to comply with printing needs.
• Contest Judges will be members of the London Visual Arts Guild and Library Staff
• All designs become property of the London Public Library and cannot be returned. The winning design may be used in future promotions, displays, signs, advertising, etc. as we see fit. 
• The winner will receive a one-of-a-kind t-shirt with their design on it!

To enter:

• Make sure your design entries contain your name, phone number, and email. If returning in person this can be added to the back of your paper. If emailed, please include it in the email with your submission. 
• Read and sign the Contest Entry Waiver Form. All participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s signature. 
• Bring in a paper copy of your design to the London Public Library. Emailed designs can be submitted to aratcliff@mylondonlibrary.org. All entries must be returned with a printed and signed copy of the Contest Entry Waiver Form.
